• At this age, going in the tub COULD be a sign of trauma, for sure. You have to wonder what else he does to this poor kid.

• You ABSOLUTELY CAN shame a 3 year old and if she doesn't care now, she'll care when this photo is being passed around at school. The father even thought about the future ramifications and posted that he WANTS this circulated when she's a senior.

• Ever notice how people who torture and humiliate children, NEVER stop and think about their own behavior? The thing that raised this 'father' should be ashamed. He is an abusive @!$%# and I hope he dies laying in a pool of his own feces.

• I have no idea what abuse is? I've served as a Guardian Ad Litem for decades. Abuse is not always physical and its effects are not always immediate. This WILL be circulated through this kid's whole life...as the father plainly stated that he wants.

• Kids, as they age, are extremely affected by peer pressure. They kill themselves over things like this. This father WANTS this to be shown in her senior year. You think child humiliation and torture are 'jokes' - I've seen the results of these jokes.

• My parents never took embarassing photos, let alone pulled them out to show people. However, showing family is not the same as showing the WORLD. To sane parents, posting this for the world to see AND asking people to show this throughout her childhood into the senior year, is abusive behavior.

• Indigo, I was never beaten or humiliated on purpose as a child. My husband wasn't either. We raised our kids with no violence or public shaming. Three out of three earned academic scholarships and one was a Presidential Scholar Award winner.

• I agree, CR. People who hit their kids are not trying to teach their kids, they're trying to instill fear. The kids I knew who were hit were always the ones with problems. They also learned to lie to their parents quite well.

• We can no longer afford this ridiculous prohibition on pot. We've created a whole class of criminal and for what? We haven't stopped it or even slowed it down. What we've done is make it easier for kids to get ahold of it.

• We are trying to get people to quit smoking voluntarily. Imagine our prison system if we jailed all cigarette smokers.

• They won't be able to sell, but other people will. It would open up a market for small business people to get into the business...cleanly. I don't see people selling cigarettes or alcohol on the black market since anyone of age can simply walk into a store and buy them.
